About Vaneleen & Esteban’s Destination Puerto Rico Wedding
Of course this wedding was extra special to me because it was in a one of a kind destination spot! First of all, the food in Puerto Rico was amazing, and the sunsets were even more spectacular. Every night there is a night life, the beach never sleeps, it was comforting.
We went a few months after the hurricane devastated the island. We were lucky enough to have electric and clean water in the area we visited. Although a lot of the island was still messed up from the hurricane, many areas where we saw were making efforts to rebuild and fix things.
We stayed in a lively little surfer town. You could walk to the strip where there was food, stores and bars. It was not very touristy, which we loved because we really got to see how the locals lived and got to experience all the islands favorites. People were so friendly and helpful. I was worried because we spoke no Spanish at all, but luckily almost everyone spoke english! Heres a link to my travel blog post from this area: CLICK HERE
The wedding itself was incredible and incorporated the local area so well. The church was in the city square and was SO beautiful. The Villa Montana Resort was SO beautiful. The rooms and property were impeccable. Then the reception was equally as detailed. The florals, food, table settings etc were so pretty.
Vaneleen & Esteban were more than accommodating. They were so grateful we traveled to photograph their wedding, and we were just as grateful to be apart of it and get to enjoy the beautiful island while we came.
