About styled shoots
I have a lot of people ask me "what is a styled shoot?" A styled shoot is basically a group of wedding vendors working together to create a scene of a bride and/or groom together. Sometimes photographers wish they could style every wedding they photograph, but obviously thats not possible. So they create a styled shoot that is geared toward creating trends and using lots of gorgeous products for detail shots, and different types of dresses. For the photographer is is fun to take photos of a set scene with an almost unlimited amount of time. It gives us more leniency for creativity and trying new things. The photographer then gives the vendors photos of the shoot to then also use on their websites. It is a lot of work for everyone, but well worth it. Everyone puts there creativity into it and in the end it benefits everyone!
About this styled shoot
This shoot was part of a two part shoot that I did at a photography workshop. I have listed at the end of the blog post all the amazing vendors and workshop information that collaborated to make this happen. The details were endless and honestly, were all eye candy! I couldn't get enough of it and could have shot photos all day. The models were a real couple, and were so sweet and easy to work with. The table setting was so gorgeous! I am obsessed with greenery and tall candles. It was just so romantic in every way.
