About our stylized shoot at Coral Cove, Jupiter FL:

I had to wait months and months to post this, and it was so hard! This is probably one of my favorite shoots to date! I was invited to come second shoot the editorial shoot by Kati Rosado Photography! She is an amazing film and digital photographer, as well as my photography mentor and good friend! Once she submitted her photos and got featured in the gorgeous Magnolia Rouge Blog, I was able to share my film and digital photos to my website. You can view her photos and feature here.

It was an amazing learning experience for me because it was one of my first shoots done in almost all film! I would say 80% of the photos in this blog post were done on film! My film scans were processed by The Find Lab which does great film processing and is perfect for beginners as well as professionals for film processing. I used Fuji 400h & Portra 800 on my favorite Pentax 645n with my 105mm lens. It was great to see how Kati shoots film, just watching her has taught me a lot.

The inspiration for this shoot was a simple and elegant beach shoot. Nothing cheesy, nothing over dramatic. Just a real couple that was in love and all neutral colors. We went to Jupiter Beach area so that we could use a rocky area. Florida is very void of rocky beaches, or rocky anything for that matter, so it really sticks out from the typical Florida beach weddings you will see. All in all, it was gorgeous and the photos speak for themselves.
